Britannia III are now level with the current record, having made a further 75nm towards he finish through day 10.
Should Britannia III break the record, the skipper on board, Ian Couch will have rowed three oceans, a feat managed by just six people worldwide, and hold the speed record for two of them (having claimed the Indian Ocean record last year on board Audeamus).
Ian will have rowed race distances in excess of 8000nm in under 130 days at sea, a truly remarkable achievement.
